Warehousing

To complement our road freight operation, we have a 10,000 square foot warehouse and freight handling facility. We specialise in both long- and short-term storage and warehousing of industrial goods as a one-off requirement or for regular seasonal peaks. This enables us to provide a complete export infrastructure that manages getting products where they need to be, when they need to be there, as efficiently as possible.

Strategically positioned close to the UK’s main motorways, it allows many of our customers to consolidate their project cargo in UK ready for onward shipment, allowing them to minimalise port handling costs.

In fact, choosing one company to store your goods as well as distributing them is excellent for streamlining your supply chain and reducing costs, since our warehousing and storage facilities can be seamlessly integrated into your distribution plan, at a fraction of the cost that would be incurred if an external company was contracted.

External Storage

When it comes to handling bulk cargo, container unloading/loading and storage, here at Insight Trans Logistics we have the capabilities to offer loading and unloading solutions for our customs.

We have a complete range of handling equipment’s including forklifts trucks from 3500kg to 12,500kg capacity, Vehicle ramps and forklift ramps and machine skates designed to manoeuvrer equipment once unloaded. Further to this we can hire in crane equipment’s to meet our individual client’s requirements.

Project Storage

ITL can provide localised warehouse facilities close to the final destination, whereby units can be prepared and staged for delivery to site. As an alternative to delivering your units to site direct from the port, we can offer to store your shipments either at the port or at inland storage depots.

Our ITL Projects team have found that storage close to delivery sites can provide us with certainty to delivery times, which we know to be fundamental for delivery when there is the use of a crane.

Our Experienced team can handle your units from start to finish – from unloading and storage to reloading for onward delivery to the construction site.

Container Decanting

We provide the labour as and when required and we can supply pallets, wrapping material etc to decant the containers straight to pallets if manually required or simply unload.
